The Maximus Vaccarino
Fund for the Arts
Art, in any form, gives children a voice when words are not enough. Ways to freely express themselves such that other extracurricular activities just can’t. It builds confidence and self-esteem, and can be both an outlet for stress or anxiety, and a source of unlimited positivity. It also creates a wonderful sense of identity and community.
Our hope for The Maximus Vaccarino Fund for the Arts is to ensure that more children in our local community have the opportunity to harness the same power and joy that Max found in creativity. At a time when local budgets make art programs all but extinct, we will find ways to support the arts and the children benefiting from them. Through your generosity, we will provide grants to kids, purchase supplies, and help fund programs. Where programs have been lost or don’t exist, we will help bring them back. By doing this together, we will all keep Maximus’s creative spirit very much alive.
Maximus would have graduated with the class of 2029. Our goal is to provide scholarships and grants to children every year until Max would have finished his education in Scituate. With your help, we hope to raise and provide up to $25,000 annually for the next six years.
